It’s safe to say I was born into a family that’s probably more dysfunctional than the Tenenbaums. A kind of family where it’s no surprise if the men cheat on their wives. Where your relatives try and find your flaws, and talk about it behind your backs. Where no one trusts each other in general. In fact, all the problems started ever since my parents separated, but that’s another story.

Thanks to the ever-so-nosy maid, our already broken shell of a home is now even more broken than ever. I never really tell anyone my family life as much. Only my very close friends know.

It’s because of this, I have trust issues. And my guard’s always, and I mean ALWAYS up. That’s why I’m a kind of private person. They made a big deal out of us always being in our rooms, but my mom explains to them that we like to keep to ourselves. We always have been ever since conflicts were always up within the household. And whenever they complain about me always being online, they don’t know this is where I get away from it all. I’m not exactly living in a very happy home, right?

It’s not really exciting to come home to people who are more cussed up than you are.

My nails as of now. Got tired with the combinations I’ve tried. Plus the pink nail polish chipped on me. It happens when I haven’t put on anything in a long time.

The lotion I got smells like vanilla! :D the yummy kind!

a better look at the nail art my sister did [3 pictures out of the 4]. Yeah, my nails just grew back to normal after months of being broken and weak from putting on and taking off nail polish. The acetone really weakens your nails, so, yeah. And I can never find it in me to grow these long. I dunno. I have weird-looking nails. 

the silver glitter polish is getting sticky though, so I might have to throw it out. It also means another trip to Etude House/The Face Shop! :D

Since my new nails grew, I decided to paint them again. Yay! LOL. One hand, I just had pink glittered tips. My sister did my other hand, with the dark-bluegreen and silver glitter too.

…I’m thinking of posting some beauty-related things here in the future. Or maybe make a side-blog for just that. My sister and my friend have been talking about it too. :]
